Camera and Lens Repairs
With over 40 years of working in the photographic industry we are experienced in diagnosing problems. So here at Cameracal we offer a full machine diagnostic checkup for your cameras and lenses which of course you can also get from the manufacturers like Nikon and Canon but this is not necessarily enough to return your photographic equipment to is full potential.
Currently seeing problems with:
Nikon 24-70’s & 70-200mm f2.8 zoom mechanism
Canon ef 17-85 – helicoid problems
Due to our extensive all round experience within the industry we include in our Full Diagnostic Checkup the following;
- Full calibration
- Sensor clean (including sensor chamber, viewfinder and screen)
- External clean (body and or lenses)
- Lens optimization
- Firmware upgrade
- Shutter count check
- Astigmatism Factor test – which will determine any alignment issues from being dropped or knocked.
- AF accuracy test. Testing each focus point independently.
Our service and repairs cover Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Olympus, Sony and most Panasonic.We also cover DSLR film cameras in 35mm, medium and large format.
On top of the above we handle pretty much ANY DSLR lens and specialise in infra red cameras.
Most of our repairs for the above brands come with a 12 month warranty.
Should your camera or lens be in need in repair after the diagnostic checks we are more than happy to deal with the manufacturer’s repair departments to facilitate this and once returned carry out the above checks to ensure you equipment is really operating correctly.
